Apple Fitness+ is starting 2025 with its most extensive programming lineup yet, introducing fresh ways for users to maintain their physical and mental well-being. The fitness platform unveiled several new programs and features set to launch on January 6.

At the heart of the update is a new three-week progressive strength training program, designed to simplify strength building through structured 30-minute workouts. The program follows a strategic progression: Progressive Overload in week one, Time Under Tension in week two, and Dynamic Power in week three.

Responding to the surging popularity of pickleball, Apple Fitness+ introduces a specialized conditioning program featuring world champion Catherine Parenteau. The program incorporates exercises from Parenteau's training regimen to help players enhance their court performance.

The platform also debuts a workshop-style Yoga Peak Poses program, offering focused instruction on advanced poses like Dancer and Crow. Each pose includes a 10-minute preparation flow followed by a dedicated practice session.

For those seeking mindfulness, the new Introduction to Breath Meditation program presents five 10-minute sessions teaching various breathing techniques for stress management and energy enhancement.

Music enthusiasts will appreciate new Artist Spotlight workouts featuring Janet Jackson, Coldplay, Bruno Mars, and Kendrick Lamar. The Time to Walk series welcomes new guests including Adam Scott, Rita Ora, and Tiffany Haddish.

A notable addition is the collaboration with Strava, enabling users to share detailed workout information between platforms. Strava subscribers receive a special offer of up to three months of Fitness+ access at no cost.

The service, priced at $9.99 monthly or $79.99 annually, can be shared among six family members. It's accessible through iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV, with Apple Watch integration providing real-time metrics tracking.

Jay Blahnik, Apple's vice president of Fitness Technologies, emphasized the platform's inclusive approach: "From workouts that can boost power and precision for pickleball, to breath meditations that help relieve stress, Fitness+ has something to inspire, motivate, and help everyone feel their best in 2025."
