Apple is exploring an innovative concept that could revolutionize wearable technology - a foldable Apple Watch with an expandable display. According to a recently revealed patent application titled "Wearable Electronic Device," the tech giant envisions a smartwatch that can transform from a compact timepiece into a larger screen device.

The patent details a unique design where the watch's display can unfold or extend when users need more screen real estate. This expanded mode would enable enhanced functionality for activities like video calls, gaming, web browsing, and social media interaction.

The proposed design includes multiple configurations. One version features a hinged mechanism allowing the display to flip open, while another combines sliding and folding screens.
