EcoFlow is launching its innovative Stream Series plug-in solar system in the United States, marking a major milestone for residential solar power adoption. The system, which has seen widespread success in Europe, will make its US debut in Utah - the first state to approve balcony solar systems that connect directly to standard wall outlets.

The Stream Series offers homeowners and renters a straightforward way to reduce electricity bills while providing backup power during outages. The system's key component, the Stream Ultra, combines a grid-tied microinverter with a 1.92kWh LFP battery that can be installed both indoors and outdoors. The weather-resistant design operates in temperatures as low as -4°F and features IP65-rated protection against dust and rain.

Users can expand the system's storage capacity up to 11.52kWh by adding additional Ultra units. The setup accommodates up to 2000W of solar input from panels, which can be mounted on roofs, ground installations, or balconies. When connected to a dedicated 15A circuit, the system can feed up to 1200W back into the home's electrical system.

The Stream Series integrates with EcoFlow's new Oasis energy management platform, allowing users to monitor and optimize their energy usage through the EcoFlow mobile app.

Early adopters can take advantage of promotional pricing until July 31st:

  • Stream Microinverter: $299 (regular price $599)
  • Stream Ultra with Microinverter: $1,459 (regular price $2,399)
  • Stream Ultra battery-only version: $1,199 (regular price $1,899)

This launch represents a notable step forward in making solar power more accessible to American households, building on the successful implementation of similar systems across Europe where millions of units have been safely installed.
