Gaming accessories manufacturer Satisfye has removed a promotional trailer that briefly showed what appears to be a blurred outline of Nintendo's yet-to-be-announced Switch 2 console.
The US-based company, known for making gaming peripherals, uploaded a video showcasing their new ZenGrip 2 accessory - a grip attachment designed for Nintendo's next-generation console. While the video has since been taken down, eagle-eyed viewers managed to capture screenshots showing a console design that bears striking similarities to previously leaked Switch 2 prototypes.
The removed trailer featured the ZenGrip 2 with what seemed to be a docked console, deliberately obscured but displaying key details like an additional button on the right Joy-Con controller - a feature consistent with recent alleged Switch 2 controller leaks.
On Satisfye's website, product pages for the ZenGrip 2 and a carrying case remain active, though they carefully avoid using the "Switch" name, instead referring to a "Next Gen Console." The company notes these are "Expected Designs" that will be adjusted to match final specifications.
Industry watchers are divided on whether this represents an actual leak or a calculated marketing move by Satisfye. As an accessories manufacturer, the company could have access to advance hardware specifications, but they might also be working from widely circulated leaked designs and rumors.
Nintendo has maintained its silence regarding the Switch successor's design, only confirming that official details will be revealed before March 31, 2025. Previous leaks suggest the new console will maintain a form factor similar to the current Switch, featuring a larger screen and magnetic Joy-Con attachments.
The timing of this incident is particularly notable, as Nintendo's next console reveal draws closer, with numerous leaks and unofficial previews surfacing from various sources in recent months.
